* A Lizard Triplefin
(Crocodilichthys gracilis) rests on a colorful starfish (Pentaceraster
cumingi ). This little fish is the only member of the Genus in
the Gulf of California. The near presence of the camera caused the fish to
puff up its body a bit to become more intimidating.
