 *  The Barber Pole Shrimp (Stenopus hispidus) is a cleaner shrimp, and the pose is not one of aggression, but exhibits its availability as a cleaner.  It was in no way intimidated by our housed camera, perhaps considering the port to be the open mouth of a fish, ready to be cleaned.  The shrimp is perched on a branch of the Deep-water Gorgonian  (Icilogorgia schrammi).  The prominent Brown Sponges are an (Agelus sp.).
